Minorities against populism and nationalism (English language)

The aim of the workshop is to create an understanding of what is minorities’ stance in the light of rising populism and nationalism and what role the individuals from minorities and minority organisations have in counteracting that.

With the growing wave of populism and nationalism throughout Europe minorities are very often either increasingly threatened, or instrumentalized. That is why we want to take a clear stance against these developments and tackle these challenges.

In terms of skills and way of work, we will focus on critical thinking methods, so that participants can better deal with the concepts of nationalism and populism. We want to ensure that we don`t only talk about critical thinking, but learn and use it.
